Before You Arrive
Share your dates, interests, travel style and budget. I can shape a realistic route, recommend how many days to spend in each place, discuss seasonal conditions and help you understand what to expect before landing.

PRIVATE BANGLADESH TOURS · LOCAL EXPERT SINCE 2018
Hire an English-speaking private tour guide for a journey that is safe, flexible and genuinely connected to the country. From your first arrival in Dhaka to remote rivers, villages, heritage sites and large corporate expeditions, I turn unfamiliar places into meaningful experiences.

MEET YOUR LOCAL HOST
I am Ataur Rahman Isty, a Dhaka-based professional tour guide and the founder of IstyTion Travels. Since 2018, I have travelled through Bangladesh as a nomadic explorer—learning the routes, communities, stories and practical realities that visitors rarely find in a guidebook.
My role is larger than pointing at monuments. I listen to how you want to travel, create a sensible plan, explain the country with context, communicate with local people and manage the details that can otherwise make Bangladesh feel difficult for a first-time visitor.
WHAT A FOREIGN VISITOR CAN EXPECT
Share your dates, interests, travel style and budget. I can shape a realistic route, recommend how many days to spend in each place, discuss seasonal conditions and help you understand what to expect before landing.
Airport meet-and-greet and private transfer coordination can be arranged on request. I help you settle in, reach your hotel and begin your journey without the stress of navigating a new city alone.
I coordinate suitable cars, boats, trains, domestic flights and locally appropriate accommodation around your itinerary. Bookings and final costs are agreed transparently before confirmation.
English–Bengali communication, local customs, dress expectations, food preferences and respectful photography guidance help you travel with confidence and connect naturally with local communities.
Plans sometimes change because of traffic, weather or local conditions. I stay close throughout the trip, adjust the day when necessary and coordinate practical alternatives so your journey keeps moving.
For destinations or experiences that require prior permission, local entry arrangements or specialist operators, I can help coordinate the process. Official approval always remains subject to the relevant authority.

WHY A PRIVATE LOCAL GUIDE?
A private journey moves at your pace. Pause for a photograph, change a lunch stop, spend longer with an artisan or simplify the day when energy is low. Local language and trusted coordination help you reach the human side of Bangladesh—not just its landmarks.

PRIVATE TOUR IDEAS
Rickshaw streets, riverfront life, historic mosques, Armenian and colonial heritage, traditional markets, crafts and carefully chosen local food.
Panam City, folk traditions, river landscapes, weaving communities, brass work, pottery and rural life within easy reach of Dhaka.
A professionally coordinated boat journey through the UNESCO-listed mangrove landscape, supported by authorised local operators and forest requirements.
Tea estates, rainforest trails, wetlands, village encounters, regional cuisine and a slower experience of green Bangladesh.
Ancient Buddhist heritage, terracotta temples, historic mosques, river towns and the layered story of Bengal beyond the capital.
Cox’s Bazar, Chattogram, Barishal backwaters, river islands and hill-region travel can be combined around your time, interests and current access conditions.

A SIGNATURE CULTURAL EXPERIENCE
As a practicing Baul folk musician, I can add an intimate acoustic performance to a village stay, river journey, beach evening or private gathering. The songs, stories and spiritual tradition make culture something you feel—not simply observe.
